The 4x4 swap isn’t too bad. I felt like the worst part was properly locating and cutting the rear spring hanger locations. A mag drill would have been a way better way to do it had I had one at the time. Too bad you aren’t closer I still have the sections of frame I cut to make the templates to locate the holes you could borrow.

Love watching what you’re building, someday I’ll build a nice Cummins first gen… I have a BEAT 85 w100 right now with a roudy 5.2 magnum and a 4 speed, she’s my work horse but I really should have at least a 3/4 ton for what I’m doing with it… before I break it in half or something😬
I may look like loads of money but it's really just meticulous management of "business" funds from the channel. I reinvest every dollar back into the channel and projects 👍

The 4x4 swap is very doable. I did it on my current truck, not too difficult. I do recommend go straight to 5/8” spring bolts while doing the swap.
